Safer Use

This isn’t a guide to drug use. We want to reduce risks for you and your friends.

In general:

  • Mixed use is always riskier than mono-drug use  – drugs are adulterated. The interactions between the drugs themselves are not well researched, and those between the adulterants are virtually non-existent.
  • Chop the powder finely  – this protects the mucous membranes.
  • Don’t use alone  – let your friends know what you’re taking, so they can be a better trip sitter in case of emergency.
  • Don’t forget to drink  – drugs and dancing dehydrate your body. Unfortunately, alcohol does too, so non-alcoholic drinks are best.
  • Use a clean surface  – it’s best to disinfect it before hand. This works very well with alcohol-based lens cleaning wipes, for example.
  • DO NOT use banknotes  – they contain organozinc compounds and are extremely toxic. Not to mention the many germs that cling to a banknote.
  • ONLY use your own tube  – there’s a risk of transmitting diseases like hepatitis and HIV. Your tube should also be free of any sharp edges.
  • Care for your nose with ointment and rinse  – a nasal douche takes some getting used to but is great after a party and without any residue in your nose you’ll be fitter and sleep better the next day.
  • Only consume when you’re physically and mentally well.  Set and setting are essential for a pleasant high.
  • Sex is awesome—but stay safe and use condoms.  Nobody wants to get sick, and kids need more time to think about it than a line, so use a condom.
  • Drugs are absolutely (!!) not allowed during pregnancy or if you still have to drive. Zero, nothing, nada.
